Research: Summer 2022 | Installation: Fall 2022
During my internship with the Greensboro Science Center, I had the privilege of taking on a project aligned with their commitment to inclusiveness and their mission of "Science for All." The goal was to create an inclusive, multi-sensory experience exhibit within the zoo, making it accessible and engaging for everyone.
In my research and design process, I focused on integrating elements that engaged all five senses (excluding taste) while maintaining the educational value of the facility. I introduced the concepts of "move" and "learn" into the design to encourage interaction and create a calm yet functional space for all visitors.
After presenting my ideas to the exhibit team, we collaborated to refine the concepts and bring them to life. The result is the inclusive exhibit currently installed at the zoo—a testament to thoughtful design and teamwork.
